To complete my training in London, I entered 7 paintings in the Lavender Hill Studio Exhibition. All of these were sold.

Quick nude drawings on gray paper covered with charcoal.
I add more charcoal to create the darks. Wipe the charcoal off with a tissue to form the lighter mid-tone. Use a putty rubber or chamois to take as much of the base charcoal off as possible for the high-lights.
